Make an offer
Submit a competitive offer or buy at the listed price. Counter, accept, or decline directly in the app — every offer is tracked on the listing.
Pay with protection
Sales under $5,000 are processed by Stripe with PIECES Assurance — a five-day post-delivery inspection window backed by buyer protection. Sales of $5,000 or more route through PIECES Protected, with funds held until you confirm receipt.
Receive and verify
The seller ships the print directly and posts tracking in the app. Inspect on arrival. We hold the funds for five days after delivery — flag any issue or the funds release automatically to the seller.

Verify your identity
Complete Stripe Connect identity verification before you can list. Verified Seller status is earned after three completed transactions with no disputes — a public record displayed on every listing and storefront, signaling track record to buyers.
List your edition
Upload front, back, signature, and edition-number photographs along with your Certificate of Authenticity. Sales of $5,000 or more require additional documentation reviewed by our authentication partners.
Manage offers
Accept, decline, or counter incoming offers. Standardized pricing tools surface comparable sales and recent auction results so you can price with confidence.
Get paid
Once the buyer-protection window closes, your payout is wired to the bank account connected to your Stripe Express account. Transit time depends on your bank — typically a few business days.
What makes a sale a sale
Four protections that apply to every transaction on PIECES. The threshold and the documentation are designed for the size of the print market — not retrofitted from another category.
Verified Sellers
Every seller passes Stripe identity verification before they can list a single piece. After three completed transactions with no disputes, sellers are upgraded to Verified Seller status — a public record displayed on every listing and storefront. Status is earned by transactions, not paid for.
Two-Tier Buyer Protection
Sales under $5,000 route through Stripe with PIECES Assurance — payment captured at purchase, funds held for a five-day post-delivery inspection window before release to the seller. Sales of $5,000 or more route through PIECES Protected — funds held in a regulated third-party escrow account (PIECES does not hold the funds), released only after you confirm receipt.
Certificate Verification
Every listing requires a Certificate of Authenticity. Listings of $5,000 or more carry additional documentation review by our authentication partners — artwork identification, edition placement, signature comparison. Buyers see exactly what is on file: dated, scanned, and tied to the specific listing.
Standardized Provenance
Edition number, signature placement, condition grade, and chain of custody captured the same way for every print. Every transaction adds to the provenance record. The result is a comparable dataset across artists, editions, and dealers.
